"Little Things" (By Co-Blogger: Naomi McCullough)

This Thursday marks nine years since I was saved, and I've been thinking of the different things that happened that helped put me under conviction.. and you know, a lot of them were just small items-but they were a great deal to me.

A lot of times I tend to think of witnessing as doing something big; giving someone a message book, getting them to come to church, ect. Which is important. But it doesn't always happen that way, and it can be discouraging  at times.

Sometimes, I forget that I'm witnessing daily.. just by the way I act in a store, with friends, family...people are noticing it.

Some of the things I remember that convicted me were my sisters' testimonies-I asked them how they knew they wanted to be saved. Maybe it seems so small to an older sibling-but it sunk in, and I remembered it, and thought on it. Don't underestimate your testimony as an older sibling!

Another thing I remember, was playing games with some girls at church, and one of them had some of her friends from school with, and they wanted to play a game that involved being ghosts or monsters, and the girl from church said, "she doesn't want to play that, she's a Christian." At the time I wasn't, and I just didn't want to play it because I didn't think my parents would want me to. But it brought conviction on me , even though I brushed it off at the time.

My parents and sisters were daily witnesses to me, as I saw how they believed, and acted, and I could see and knew it was the truth.

They seem so small, but they meant so much to me. I just wanted to share a bit of my testimony with you, and hopefully encourage you, that even if it's just a simple question answered-who knows, you may have planted the seed, and someone will come by later and water it. The little things can be big things!
